Lyrics: Zoë Kressler, Pablo Rime – 2019

How many times have I wondered what comes next.

We are standing on an endless road with all the others.

But who will take care of all the souls in the lost city

once the plague has broken out?

We learn all about it, but what do we do?

We have to help them, spare them from this.

Because we are all in this together.

That's our job, that’s who we are.

 Everything counts, everything counts -

When the media show and we tend to look away.

Everyone counts, everyone counts -

If the boat is too small, everyone on it.

We must stick together -

When one person stands in the corner and all the others are silent.

Together, we can hold anyone -

Then let's show some humanity.

Study your math if everyone counts.

It's the same everywhere,

whether you're from Grattavache or Hong Kong,

if you don't fit in.

There's a bunch of billiards by the hearse.

Who cares about our lost souls? Despair lingers.

Who cares about our lost souls? Of course it troubles me.

And there's no more time. Gaia has deserted her lair.

The earth sings a dissonant melody.

Even the moon trembles, but the human dances.

What of living together?

Everyone counts, it's not too late to find out.

So study your math. It's our struggle.

Why wait for another moon for a change?

Governments lie to you! Of course our chances are unequal,

it wouldn't be like this if it was only up to me.

We learn all about it, but what do we do?

We have to help them, spare them from this.

Because we are all in this together.

That's our job, that’s who we are.

That is our task, what we are.

Are you coming too?

That is our job, that’s who we are.

Lyrics: Zoë Kressler – 2018

You're the reason, why I can’t sleep at night.

There's something magical about you that attracts me.

Lalalalalalala

Every step you make seems different and dangerous.

I distance myself more and more from who I was.

Lalalalalalala

The others say that you're not good for me.

Such words often leave me without courage.

Lalalalalalala

I close my eyes. I don't want you to see me cry.

Whatever comes, I will go with you tonight.

 Lalalalalalala

How drunk were we that night?

Carefree in the grass, I lay beside you.

Above us, these constellations.

The big, the little bear.

The big, the little bear.

The big, the little bear.

While the lights were dancing across the sky,

we decided to wander through the world.

Just flee. Just flee.

How drunk  were we that night.

Oh, brother bear, how did we laugh.

And we didn't think anything of it.

And we didn't think anything of it.

How drunk were we that night?

Carefree in the grass, I lay beside you.

Above us, these constellations.

The big, the little bear.

The big, the little bear.

The big, the little bear.

How drunk were we that night?

The big, the little bear.

Decided to wander through the world.

And when we go. Then no one will see us.

Oh no one will see us anymore.

Lyrics: Zoë Kressler – 2019

The whole room can't help it, you have to hear her.

She throws her head back.

Her teeth are white, despite the yellow glow,

of the lamp waiting up there all alone.

And also I am unnoticed, there in the shadow beside you.

She laughs too loud, at your jokes.

They're all right. But they're not more.

She claws into your shirt like it was her trophy.

Like you're her trophy.

Silent laughter is often not heard.

Silent love is often not seen.

Silent people.

Silent people are overlooked.

And once your gaze wanders to the shadow beside you.

Whose head is as red as her tight dress,

that cries out for attention.

And heaven, it screams deep inside of me.

But you can’t hear anything.

And then that night was over.

The red dress and you, you took the elevator just after two.

And the doors were almost closed, but in between my hand.

Four perfect eyes pressing me against the wall.

Silent laughter is often not heard.

Silent love is often not seen.

Silent people.

Silent people are overlooked.

Silent people.

Silent people.

Silent people.

Silent people are overlooked.

Lyrics: Zoë Kressler – 2019

You were there, close to me.

And I couldn't hold you.

Suddenly so many questions. I’ve seen angels fly.

You can't understand why they open their wings

and one day they leave.

But whoever saw an angel once will see him again.

You will see your angel again.

Two angels in heaven. Two on the hand. Ohohohoh

Two with wings. Two beside me in the sand.

You make me strong and weak at the same time.

It's taking me to my limits.

I'll always be there for you.

Mhmmm. Always be there for you.

Two angels in heaven. Two in the hand. Ohohohoh

Two with wings. Two beside me in the sand.

You're my miracle, miracle, miracle, wonderful.

You're my miracle, miracle, I'm here for you.

Two by my side, two places are free

A deep wish, a silent cry.

Two in hand, two places are free

A deep wish, a silent cry.

Two angels in heaven. Two in the hand. Ohohohoh

Two with wings. Two beside me in the sand.

Two angels in heaven. Two in the hand. Ohohohoh

Two with wings. Two beside me in the sand.

You're my miracle, miracle, miracle, wonderful.

You're my miracle, miracle, I'm here for you

Lyrics: Zoë Kressler – 2018

She lives next door. You can see it in her face.

But what she’s able to do remains hidden.

For everyone.

And then when I come home,

she stands there at the window waving at me.

Like nobody else does.

What's normal? What's normal?

She sings that 21 times.

Who's normal? Are you normal?

She sings 21 times.

She should once have the chance to be on stage.

Once see everything from above.

And not stand in the crowd.

Don't go down.

Her world is usually only very small,

but if you would let her into your own world you could see:

she laughs brighter than the sunshine.

She wants to sing, sing for a lifetime.

And not hear that she's different.

Not hear that she's different.

What's normal? What's normal?

She sings that 21 times.

Who's normal? Are you normal?

She sings 21 times.

She should once have the chance to be on stage.

Once see everything from above.

And not stand in the crowd.

Don't go down.

My first concert, she cheers right up front with me.

Few others are here.

No one dances like her, to the singing and the piano.

Famous or not, that just doesn't count for them.

I look at her face.

I see all the joy erupts inside her.

For she dances here in the light

and she's dancing and spinning around.

You don't even have to be on stage.

So all the others can see you.

You can stand in the crowd.

I'll always see you.
